Schedule

Nights, 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, including weekends (every other weekend) and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified RN for a Med Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, as this role involves caring for patients with various conditions, including pulmonary issues, end-stage renal disease, and stroke overflow.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Med Surg Tele unit.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant findings.
• Float to rehab as needed and manage care for patients on high flow modalities.
• Assist with specialized procedures as required by patient diagnosis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Must be able to float as needed and care for COVID patients.
• Maintain a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
