Schedule

The schedule consists of 4 days of 10-hour shifts, rotating between 06:30 - 17:00 and 08:15 - 18:45, with on-call duties approximately 7 days a month.

Job Description

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform Nuclear Medicine Procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. You will be responsible for operating advanced Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras and other technical equipment to conduct essential imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures and patient care protocols.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain high-end Nuclear Medicine equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging examinations.
• Document patient interactions and procedural outcomes accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
• One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine within 6 months of hire and possess relevant certifications from NMTCB or ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Pending Nuclear Medicine licensure with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging is acceptable.
