7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with required rotations including every other weekend and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and be adept in various procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients in a 36-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6, occasionally 1:7.
• Conduct bedside shift reports, hourly safety rounds, and establish personal connections with patients.
• Perform advanced procedures such as CBI, wound care, drain management, foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Must have an active compact nursing license upon submission.
• BLS certification is required.
• IV certification is mandatory.
