Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Job Description

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role involves working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans in line with the prescribed protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients.
• Collaborate with oncologists and other medical staff to develop treatment plans.
• Ensure patient safety during therapy and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
• Conduct quality assurance procedures for radiation equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• BLS certification.
• State licensure as a Radiation Therapist.
• Prior experience in a progressive radiation oncology department preferred.
• 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required.
