Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team. The ideal candidate will possess strong de-escalation skills and demonstrate exceptional communication abilities. This role involves providing care to patients in a dedicated 33-bed psychiatric unit, ensuring a safe environment while managing care for both adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the psychiatric unit.
• Utilize strong de-escalation skills to manage patient behaviors effectively.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records (EHR).
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Current certifications: ADN, BLS, and CPI, NVCI or HWC.
