Shift: M-Th 10 hr days with call on Fri, Sat & Sun, then switch to nights.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides care, assessment, and delivery of respiratory therapy to individuals as requested by a physician. Care will be delivered in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency services, and home care. The individual is expected to perform with minimal assistance during procedures such as intubations, cesarean sections, aerosol delivery, and patient assessment and care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of an associate's degree in Respiratory Care.
• Active and current licensure in the State of California as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical setting, or a new graduate with strong recommendations.
• Must possess ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• OSHA Respirator Fit Testing certification required within 3 months of hire date.
• PFT Experience is a must.
