7 PM to 7 AM, with 3-4 weekend shifts required per schedule. No call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Mother/Baby Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires specialized knowledge in maternal-newborn care, including support for breastfeeding and care for postpartum mothers and newborns. The selected candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for mothers and their newborns in a couplet care setting.
• Support breastfeeding and educate mothers on infant care.
• Perform routine assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient status using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Engage in patient and family education to promote healthy practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Mother/Baby nursing experience.
• Current certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS (Basic Life Support) are required.
• Preferred: NICU or postpartum experience.
