Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in acute medical-surgical care to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, coordinating with team members, and ensuring comprehensive documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Care for 4-6 patients at a time
• Perform standard nursing skills, including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, and central line maintenance
• Administer medications and manage Continuous Bladder Irrigation
• Insert and maintain nasogastric tubes (NGT)
• Communicate effectively with all members of the care team
• Accurately document patient care in the EHR

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of acute medical-surgical experience within the last year
• Experience working with neuro patients, such as CVAs, TIAs, and AMS is preferred
• Valid RN license
