Night Shift Registered Nurse - PCU

Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends required. There is no call obligation, and the position may require floating as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PCU nursing, ensuring high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a progressive care setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and react to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility.
