Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Surgical unit provides direct patient care to a diverse patient population. The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in the hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Implement appropriate nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient medical surgical experience.
• Recent experience with Epic EMR is required (within the last 6 months).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to manage dysrhythmias and adhere to isolation precautions.
