Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Travel Nurse to provide critical care in a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate must be willing to work a blend of weekends, holidays, and adapt to a dynamic, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Manage patient ratios that may vary from 1:5 to as high as 1:8 during peak times.
• Ensure compliance with protocols for trauma, critical care, and pediatric emergencies.
• Perform required assessments and interventions including triage, procedural sedation, and management of dysrhythmias.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• State nursing license (Michigan) must be active by start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS by AHA, PALS, TNCC, NIH.
• Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
