Registered Nurse - Preadmission Testing

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for preparing patients for surgery through preadmission testing. The nurse will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to ASPAN guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preadmission testing for surgery patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and health history.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure proper patient flow.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions using EMR (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Day Surgery or PACU experience is preferred.
• Must possess a calm and pleasant personality to provide excellent patient care.
