7 PM - 7 AM, with weekend rotations required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a high-risk obstetrical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in labor and delivery, ensuring optimal outcomes for both mothers and babies.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and monitor labor progress for high-risk patients.
• Administer medications and interventions as needed.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries, c-sections, and post-delivery recovery care.
• Maintain and operate GE fetal monitors and document in Meditech and CPNS systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery.
• Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certification is required.
• Experience in circulating for c-sections and recovering high-acuity patients.
