Rotating shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) and 3x12-Hour (19:30 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for pediatric patients, demonstrating proficiency in critical care procedures and effective patient management across various diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Float to NICU and Pediatric Emergency Department as needed.
• Manage complex procedures including moderate sedation, arterial lines, and central venous pressure monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create optimal patient care plans.
• Administer medications and manage drips as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care setting.
• Current certifications in BLS and PALS.
• Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
