Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role requires a skilled nurse with a strong background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients, including assessment, education, and management of complex health issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct head to toe assessments and implement patient care plans.
• Administer IV medications, including management of Lasix drips, heparin drips, IV push metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin.
• Manage wound care, including drain management and vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) therapy.
• Provide care for NGT and G-tubes, including parenteral nutrition management.
• Oversee central line management, including PICC, hemodialysis catheters, and midline catheters.
• Administer and manage foley, nephrostomy, and suprapubic catheters, as well as ostomy care.
• Participate in daily Multidisciplinary Rounds (MDRs) on day shift (Monday to Friday) from 10:30-11:15 AM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• Experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
