7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend rotations.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, and will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Perform central line placements and other bedside procedures such as thoracentesis and cardioversions.
• Utilize all relevant ICU equipment, including ventilators and cardiac output monitors.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in Meditech.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of MICU/MSICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Active RN license in Texas (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• CCRN certification is preferred.
