Registered Nurse ER (Adult) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend requirements of every other weekend and holiday availability as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room to provide top-quality care to adult patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency care and be adept with various clinical skills required for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to adult and geriatric patients with various emergency diagnoses.
• Perform triage, isolation precautions, and manage cardiac monitoring.
• Administer IV therapy, blood products, and manage ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York State RN license (no pending licenses accepted).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Clinical skills in IV therapy, emergency care, and trauma management are essential.
