MS/Tele Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend and holiday required as scheduled.

Job Description

The MS/Tele Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate must have a solid clinical background in managing patients with various medical and surgical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Perform necessary clinical procedures and maintain patient safety.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Maryland or compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
• Experience with patient ratios of 5:1.
• Two years of experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting required; first-time travelers accepted.
