Job Description

The CVOR Nurse provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the nurse is responsible for providing, delegating, supervising, and documenting care and education for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the health care team is essential. Participation in identifying solutions for any variances from patient goals and ensuring implementation is also required.

Responsibilities

• Formulate effective nursing care plans based on clinical knowledge and analytical abilities.
• Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience.
• Current active Michigan RN licensure.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
