Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Department RN with charge or managerial experience to join our team for night shifts. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients, in a busy Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Manage and supervise nursing staff within the unit
• Assist in triaging patients according to prescribed protocols
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with other medical staff
• Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in the Emergency Department, with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience in healthcare settings is mandatory
• Current AHA certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC required to be in hand)
• Active NY Nursing License and all RN licenses verified through NURSYS report
• Valid driver's license with an address matching demographics
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• 2 recent references from ED Charge or Manager RNs
