Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, Days, from 06:45 to 19:15, with holiday rotation. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various departments including critical care and labor and delivery. The RRT must possess recent critical care experience and be able to float between areas as needed by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and medications as prescribed.
• Conduct diagnostic tests including arterial blood gas analysis.
• Monitor patients and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Assist with intubation and extubation procedures in emergency situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent critical care experience is required.
• Must hold a current South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT (NBRC).
