Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Schedule

3 nights per week, rotating weekends, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will work within a collaborative healthcare team, providing respiratory care to patients across various age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults. Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and evaluating treatment methods, and delivering high-quality care using advanced respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on physician orders.
• Administer therapies including O2, humidity therapy, airway management, and mechanical ventilation.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and postural drainage procedures.
• Conduct non-emergency EKGs and assist with ABG draws as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RRT with active state licensure.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
• Experience in NICU, pediatrics, and adult respiratory care.
• Must be able to intubate independently for pediatrics and adults.
