Full-time, Night Shift: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), weekdays, every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), where you will care for a variety of medical patients, including those with respiratory issues, diabetes ketoacidosis (DKA), arrhythmias, postoperative kidney transplant patients, and interventional neurological patients. The unit is equipped with 8 IMC beds and 10 observation beds, allowing you to deliver high-quality care and support to telemetry patients with medical and surgical needs as well as the renal population.

Responsibilities

• Caring for intermediate care and telemetry patients
• Managing and interpreting dysrhythmias
• Ventilator management and care of ventilated patients
• Administering cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Providing care within the scope of telemetry monitoring
• Maintaining effective communication with the interdisciplinary team

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with 1 year in a specialty setting
• Valid West Virginia or compact RN license required (pending license acceptable)
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (must be American Heart Association certified)
• Strong experience in IMC and/or ICU settings
