Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, demonstrating comprehensive assessment skills and clinical abilities. This role requires thorough knowledge of various conditions, procedures, and emergency management.

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic and accurate assessments of patients across all stages of growth and development.
• Deliver direct patient care while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Demonstrate professionalism in practice and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including patient identification and transfer techniques.
• Individualize patient care based on diagnoses, procedures, and conditions.
• Involve patients and families in educational efforts pre- and post-operatively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience is required.
• Active RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
