Schedule

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with on-call requirements. Typically, the on-call shift will follow the day shift, lasting from 7 PM to 7 AM, followed by a day off.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients post-surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with pain management strategies, including pain blocks and IV administration.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide personalized care.
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery plans and discharge instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-3 years of PACU experience required.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma hospital preferred.
• Certifications: Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS are mandatory.
