Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg Nurse to develop and implement total nursing care for patients, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans. The nurse will provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing practice standards in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans
• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• Monitor patient vitals and report adverse reactions to medications
• Adjust specialized medical equipment as necessary

Required Experience

• 1 year of Med-Surg experience required
