Trauma Nurse - Level 1 Trauma Center

Job Description

The Trauma Nurse will provide high-quality care for patients at a Level 1 trauma center, utilizing skills in various specialty areas including general, ortho, neuro, vascular, trauma, robotics, and transplant nursing. Candidates should possess strong experience and be ready to work in a fast-paced, critical care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care and emergency support to trauma patients.
• Manage trauma cases efficiently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform assessments, develop nursing care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Participate in trauma education and training programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience within the last 3 years.
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience in the last 3 years.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Compliance with Flu and COVID vaccination policies, with accepted medical/religious exemptions.
