Day shifts with 3x12-hour schedules and variable start times of 7am, 9am, or 11am. May require covering one night shift and weekend work.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will assist in outpatient surgical cases and work in a community hospital setting, specifically in Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular specialties. The role will involve providing support during surgeries and ensuring a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are available and functioning.
• Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring proper handling and sterilization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, or Trauma cases is preferred.
• National certification as a CST is preferred but not mandatory.
