Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Night Shift

3, 12-hour night shifts from 18:00 to 06:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor.
• Provide education and support to new parents on newborn care and breastfeeding.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and monitor their effects on patients.
• Document patient care in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience required.
• ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, or AWHONN Intermediate certifications are required.
• BLS and NR certifications must be current.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Travel experience is required.
