Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist

Job Description

Invasive Cardiovascular Technologists are allied health professionals responsible for performing diagnostic examinations at the request or direction of an Interventional Cardiologist during various procedures, including invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular studies. These professionals collect and record subjective data to obtain critical information for establishing correct anatomical and physiological diagnoses for patients.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month, with shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of an Associate Degree or completion of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or an accredited Allied Health Program.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty is needed.
• Must obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
