Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a commitment to meeting the needs of patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a focus on maintaining patient dignity and safety.
• Perform lab draws, IV starts, and other clinical procedures as required.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Engage in service recovery and escalate any issues through the chain of command.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience with IV starts, NGT placement, and wound care.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Advanced skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation are preferred.
