Registered Nurse MS/Telemetry - Rochester, NY

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Must be available for every other weekend and holiday if needed.

Job Description

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit. The RN will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and administer medications while ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV therapy and manage phlebotomy procedures.
• Care for patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, and post MI.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies as part of the rapid response/code team.
• Provide wound care, including the use of wound vacs and isolation precautions.
• Additional duties as required by the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN or LPN license (pending license not accepted).
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• At least 1 year of experience in MS/Telemetry settings, including IV therapy and cardiac monitoring.
• Experience using EPIC charting system is a hard requirement.
