Registered Nurse - High-Risk Pregnancy Travel Position

PM Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

The registered nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing evaluation and treatment for high-risk pregnancies in a large hospital setting. Candidates must have prior travel experience in similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and systematic assessments across all stages of growth and development.
• Deliver direct patient care while supporting patient care delivery and teamwork.
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation of nursing processes and patient progress.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Promote patient satisfaction through courteous communication and a focus on patient-centered care.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals and utilize proper safety techniques.
• Individualize patient care according to procedures and anesthesia types.
• Participate actively in patient education, including pre-operative and post-operative instructions.
• Support timely patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Previous travel experience with high-risk pregnancies in large hospital settings.
• ACLS Certification - Required
• BLS Certification - Required
• Current RN License - Required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
