Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Nurse for a contract position in a busy facility. The role requires a compassionate and dedicated professional to provide high-quality care to patients in need of surgical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner EMR.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid TN nursing license.
• 1 year of experience required, with preference for 2 years in a Medical-Surgical setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with Cerner, Merge, and PowerChart is a plus.
