Job Description

As a Radiation Therapist in our Radiation Oncology department, you will be responsible for administering high-quality radiation treatment to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. You will utilize image-guided radiation therapy and work with advanced equipment to deliver therapeutic radiation treatments.

Responsibilities

• Administer external beam radiation therapy according to treatment plans.
• Perform daily quality assurance on radiation equipment.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system.
• Operate and maintain CT simulation scanners and linear accelerators.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification from an AHA-approved provider.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid West Virginia state license as a Radiation Therapist.
• Experience with Varian linear accelerators and image-guided radiation therapy techniques is preferred.
