Registered Nurse - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, with a schedule of every other weekend. Must be the first to float to PCU for a MSU assignment unless telemetry trained. Possible required overtime for two additional shifts every six weeks, including holiday requirements.

Job Description

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting, ensuring efficient and effective support within a 23-bed unit. Maintain patient ratios of 1:6, with a maximum of 1:5 during day shifts from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and efficacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Telemetry training is a plus but not mandatory for all positions.
