Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM. Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves teamwork and adaptability, with a focus on meeting patient needs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Med Surg unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions while administering medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the Cerner EMR system.
• Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Tennessee RN License.
• At least 1 year of Med Surg experience required; 2 years preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner, merge, and powerchart is preferred.
