Critical Care Registered Nurse - High Acuity

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts available from 7 PM to 7:30 AM or 7 AM to 7:30 PM with a 60-minute unpaid lunch break.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse specializing in high acuity cases. The ideal candidate will provide 1:1 or 1:2 nursing care in a fast-paced critical care environment, effectively managing complex heart cases and STEMIs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor vital signs and maintain patient records accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Float to other ICUs, telemetry, and medicine units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in critical care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
