MRI Tech - Radiology / Cardiology

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours from 08:00 to 16:30. Call required, including one night per week and one weekend every five weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Tech with at least 1 year of experience in radiology/cardiology settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of MRI operations and have proficiency with GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for various body parts, including the brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and breast.
• Utilize specialized imaging procedures, including diffusion and perfusion imaging.
• Implement isolation precautions and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures.
• Conduct image post-processing and multiplanar reconstruction as required.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Tech.
• ARRT (R) (MR) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Philips MRI experience is preferred.
• Previous charge experience and teaching hospital experience are preferred.
