Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts, including days and nights, with every other weekend. Positions are 3x12 hour shifts.

Job Description

The Travel Adolescent Behavioral Health RN will provide care for inpatient adolescents aged 14-17 with psychiatric needs. The role involves floating to geriatric and adult behavioral health units as needed. The RN will be responsible for upholding the philosophy, goals, and standards of the Department of Nursing and managing clinical activities within the assigned units.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in the delivery of care.
• Plan and coordinate orientation and educational needs of the staff.
• Formulate and monitor capital, personnel, and operating budgets.
• Ensure a good working relationship with other disciplines and promote positive public relations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Inpatient Adolescent Psych experience required.
• De-escalation training/certification required; attendance in the SAFE Training Course can be arranged onsite if necessary.
• BLS certification is required.
