Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist specializing in RRT to provide high-quality respiratory care in our facility. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with respiratory issues, performing a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments including nebulizer therapy, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management.
• Perform intubation assists and extubation procedures, and manage airway devices.
• Conduct regular checks and troubleshooting on ventilators and high-pressure alarms.
• Collection of sputum specimens and management of tracheostomies.
• Provide care for COVID-19 patients as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Certification in BLS and RRT is required; CRT is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required.
