Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Charge/Manager RN to join our team for the night shift. The role involves supervising nursing staff and providing high-quality patient care within a medical-surgical unit. Floating to other units may be required as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for adults post-surgery, including but not limited to abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes to administer treatments.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to hospital policies and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Active New York RN license and verification through NURSYS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing with documented travel experience.
• Two recent RN references from previous employers in a charge or manager capacity.
• Skills checklist that matches the specialty.
