Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our ICU team in an acuity care unit, consisting of a total of 22 beds. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critically ill patient care, with the ability to manage diverse and complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac strips and vital signs.
• Titrate intravenous drips as required and manage common psychotropic and sedative medications.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients diagnosed with conditions including DKA, Sepsis, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, abdominal pain, and post-surgical recovery.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians and respiratory therapists.
• Participate in self-scheduling, with an expectation of working every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience within the ICU specialty is required; travel experience preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Ability to manage and operate ventilators, Cpap, and BiPap equipment.
