Day shift, 5x8-hour (07:15 - 15:00), Monday to Friday, on call every 4th day and every 4th weekend, with some holidays.

Job Description

The Operating Room Circulating RN provides patient care in the surgical setting while collaborating effectively with the surgical team. The role involves circulating during surgical procedures and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases in various specialties including General, Orthopedic, OBGYN, and Endoscopic procedures.
• Ensure adherence to universal protocols and infection control measures.
• Perform equipment checks and maintain appropriate instrumentation and supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning and transfer to the operating table.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support staff for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Preferred certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
