Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are nights, with a schedule of 12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM, rotating with day shifts of 7 AM to 7 PM. Candidates can choose between 36 and 48 hours per week, with the requirement of working at least one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. One holiday will also be required during the contract period.

Job Description

Join our dynamic med/surg telemetry unit consisting of 37 beds. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with recent experience in acute medical-surgical care and telemetry. The position requires flexibility to meet the scheduling needs of the facility, including the potential to float to other units, and willingness to work in a charge capacity, with training available.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• Current NIH and AHA BLS certifications.
