Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our General Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience, particularly in Orthopedic, Thoracic, Vascular, and Robotics specialties. Experience in a Level II trauma facility is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring the sterile environment is maintained.
• Prepare and assemble surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.
• Assist in patient positioning and transferring.
• Participate in the maintenance and processing of surgical instruments.
• Support the team with emergency procedures and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in a multi-specialty environment, particularly in Orthopedic, Thoracic, Vascular, and Robotics.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.
