7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 days a week with every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical/surgical unit and a strong background in caring for post-operative patients, particularly in orthopedic care. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Perform blood transfusions and maintain IV and central lines.
• Document patient care and progress using the Meditech documentation system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Basic Med/Surg experience.
• Experience with post-operative orthopedic patients.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
