Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Work every other weekend, 36 hours per week, with flexibility to fill scheduling needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Care unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing post-operative cardiovascular patients, particularly those recovering from CABG and other vascular and general cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to post-operative CABG, vascular, and general cardiac patients.
• Administer cardiac drips, titrations, and electrolyte replacements as needed.
• Manage chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, and TR Bands.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse with experience in post-op cardiac care.
• Current certifications: BLS, ALS, and EKG Interpretation.
• Knowledge of cardiac drips, necessary titrations, and electrolyte replacement techniques.
