Schedule

Day shifts, 12 hours per shift (36-hour guarantee), with 6 weekend shifts every 6-week schedule period.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Nurse will be responsible for a variety of patient care activities, which include:

Responsibilities

• Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed and interpreting and recording measurements.
• Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of Medical Surgical experience required.
• Recent traveler experience highly preferred.
• NIH and BLS (AHA) certifications are required.
• Current Oklahoma State License or compact.
