Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg unit. This position is ideal for a professional who is committed to providing high-quality patient care and excelling in a collaborative team environment. The Med Surg unit includes 26 beds with patient ratios of 1:6 or team nursing 1:9.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hourly purposeful rounds and ensure effective communication with patients and families.
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech system.
• Perform nursing procedures as needed and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate actively in bedside shift reports and engage in team nursing approaches.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• A positive attitude, strong time management, and effective communication skills are essential.
• Prior experience in a Med Surg setting is preferred.
